A rosetta poured into an espresso cup, seen from above Perfect pour! ☕ Daily Pour #42

How to play

Real microfoam, under your finger

The foam spreads, folds and gets pulled through like the real thing. There is a lot to feel, and three things to learn.

1

Press and hold

Press on the cup and hold to pour the milk. Drag to steer the stream across the surface.

2

Lift on cue

Follow the bar under the cup: lift your finger when a step's bar fills, then pour again. Guided levels show where to pour.

3

Match the target

Your pour is compared with the target, shape and lines inside it. Hold your cup on the results screen to lay it over the target.

30 levels

From a simple ring to a rosetta

Each level asks for a new pattern and a new move. Watch a demo of the target pour first, then try it yourself.

Three drinks

Every drink pours differently

Espresso

Learn the classics

Start here. The longest pour in the game teaches you the hold, the lift and the pull-through.

Chai

Spiced, and turned around

A faster pour and patterns that come at you from a new angle.

Matcha

Fast pours, tight angles

The shortest pour in the game. Every second counts, and so does every degree.

Every day, a reason to pour

Small rituals, built in

Daily Pour

A new pattern every day, the same for every player. Unlocks after Espresso level 3. Three free tries, then see you tomorrow.

Cups and ingredients

Each pour uses a cup and an ingredient: coffee beans, chai spices or matcha powder. A free refill comes every day at midnight.

Your best pour, on video

Beat your best on a level and get a video of your pour. Share it, or save it to Photos.

Game Center

Your total stars and your Daily Pour scores go on the leaderboards when you are signed in to Game Center.

English and French

The whole game, in both languages, with VoiceOver labels, larger text in menus and Reduce Motion support.

This policy explains what Pourtrait (“the app”) does with data, and the choices you have. It applies to the iOS app.

Who we are

[Publisher legal name], [postal address], [country]. Contact: [privacy email address].

We are the data controller for the processing described here.

Summary

  • There is no account. We don’t ask for your name, email or phone number.
  • There are no ads, and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • Your game progress stays on your device.
  • Usage statistics, not linked to your identity, are sent only if you agree. You can change this at any time in the app, under Settings › Privacy.

Data that stays on your device

The app stores the following on your iPhone only. We never receive it:

  • progress, scores, stars and unlocked levels;
  • cups and ingredients, and Daily Pour tries;
  • your settings;
  • replays and videos of your best pours;
  • a 30-day play log (attempts, passes, and running out of cups or ingredients), which is never sent.

Deleting the app deletes this data. Your device backups (iCloud or computer) include it, except the best-pour videos. The replays they are made from are backed up, so the videos can be made again.

Usage statistics (only with your consent)

We use usage statistics to learn which levels are too hard, where players stop, and whether features such as sharing are used. We don’t use them for advertising, and we don’t sell them.

What is sent. When you agree, the app sends short events about how the game is used:

  • app opened, sessions, and the Welcome button tap;
  • levels played, attempt results (score range, stars, passed or not), and whether a pour was finished or abandoned;
  • demos and replays watched;
  • running out of cups or ingredients, a refill being seen, and reminder choices;
  • share button use, and the type of app you shared to (for example Messages or Photos), never the recipient;
  • whether Game Center sign-in succeeded or failed;
  • a review prompt being shown, and technical errors (an error code only).

Every event also carries how many days ago you installed the app and the content version. Events carry only fixed values and numbers, never free text.

Technical details added by the analytics SDK. With every event, the TelemetryDeck SDK adds: app version and build, device model, iOS version, screen size, time zone, locale, region and language, hour of day and weekday, accessibility settings, and whether the build is a debug, TestFlight or simulator build.

What is never sent: your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, the advertising identifier (IDFA), or anything you type.

Identifier. To count returning players without knowing who they are, the app creates a random identifier on your device. The SDK hashes it on your device (SHA-256) before sending. It is not linked to your Apple Account or to any other identity. If you turn statistics off, the identifier is deleted. If you turn them back on later, a new one is created, so old and new data can’t be connected.

Provider. The statistics are processed by TelemetryDeck ([legal entity name and address — confirm]), based in Germany. According to TelemetryDeck, its servers are hosted in the Netherlands and Germany.

[Confirm whether TelemetryDeck stores or discards IP addresses, and state it here.]

Legal basis. Your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Storing the identifier on your device and reading it also rely on your consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act). You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings › Privacy. Withdrawal doesn’t affect processing that took place before it. Refusing has no effect on the game.

Retention. [Retention period confirmed by TelemetryDeck. Target: 25 months or less.]

Apple services

  • Game Center. If you’re signed in to Game Center, your scores are sent to Apple’s leaderboards. Apple processes this data under the Apple Privacy Policy. We don’t store your Game Center identity.
  • Crash reports. We receive crash reports only if you’ve turned on Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements › Share With App Developers. Apple provides them to us.
  • App Store. Apple handles downloads. App Store Connect gives us aggregated statistics, which include only users who agreed to share data with app developers. A shared link to the app may contain a campaign code that tells us which kind of share led to a download, never who shared it.

Permissions

  • Notifications. If you allow them, the app schedules one local reminder on your device for 09:00 the next day, only after you’ve run out of cups or an ingredient. No data is sent. Turn reminders off in the app’s Settings or in iOS Settings › Notifications.
  • Photos. The app asks for add-only access, and only when you choose to save a video. It can’t see or read your photo library.
  • Sharing. Sharing happens only when you tap Share, and you choose the app and the recipient.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and has no account, chat or ads. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. Usage statistics rely on consent. If you’re under the age of digital consent in your country (15 in France), ask a parent or guardian before turning them on.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase your data. You can also restrict or object to its processing, ask for portability, and withdraw your consent.

The statistics aren’t linked to your identity, so we may not be able to find the data that relates to you (Article 11 GDPR). Turning statistics off in Settings stops collection and deletes your identifier.

To exercise a right, write to [privacy email address]. You can also complain to the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update the date at the top of this page when the policy changes. If we change what we collect, we’ll ask for your consent again in the app before collecting it.
